Grow Your Own Herbs: Plant Propagation Workshop with Chris Jenkins and Sam Halliday, Sunday 26 May 2024

£79.00

Day Workshop, 10am - 16pm

A fascinating hands-on workshop about the principles and techniques for propagating medicinal plants to grow in your own garden.

Chris Jenkins is a horticulturist and propagation supervisor at Kew, and with his team of botanical horticulturists, he grows a wide range of plants for the Gardens, and the Science and Education departments at Wakehurst.

Sam Halliday is the Healing Garden gardener, responsible for growing the hundreds of different species of medicinal plants we have in the garden and plant sale.

The two of them have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, together with a wonderful nature connection that makes them the perfect teaching team for this workshop.

They will show you a range of different propagation tricks and techniques, and you get to take your plants home at the end of the day.

All materials + coffee, tea and biscuits are included in the price. But bring a pen and notebook.

You can book lunch and accommodation at Emerson College (01342 822 238 / bookings@emerson.org.uk), or choose your own.
